DEVELOPING THE IDEA
Cost of design changes escalate rapidly as projects
progress from concept to advanced design to manufacturing. At SensorWise we've invested heavily in acquiring and developing up-front analysis capabilities to allow us to assess engineering issues in all aspects of the
design. These capabilities include: Circuit Simulation (SPICE), Digital Circuit Timing Simulation, Mechanical Strength and Thermal modeling (Finite Element Analysis ) and Software Structured Design Analysis.
WORKING OUT THE DETAILS
Critical to the detailed design phase is taking an integrated approach
to tradeoffs between mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. Part of the strength of the SensorWise team is our ability to accurately assess the implications of these tradeoffs and make optimal choices for
performance, schedule, and cost. This approach also highlights key technical risks requiring early prototyping and testing.
The harsh environment acoustic transducers were designed and tested at SensorWise, and we continue to support this client with ongoing manufacturing and testing.
The downhole
tractor exemplifies our strong in-house capabilities to take complex designs through the prototype manufacturing and testing phases, ready for commercial production.
